This project builds a low-cost, niche system administration tool that ingests and analyzes system event logs, presenting them in a chronological, searchable, and insightful manner, akin to reconstructing past events like in 'Memento'.

Inspired by the meticulous reconstruction of past events in 'Memento' and the data-driven analysis implied by an 'E-Commerce Pricing' scraper, 'Chronicle Weaver' is a system administration tool designed to empower sysadmins with a deeper understanding of their server's history. Much like the fragmented memories in 'Memento' that need to be pieced together, system event logs (syslog, Windows Event Viewer, application logs) can be vast, disparate, and difficult to correlate. 'Chronicle Weaver' acts as a central 'memory palace' for system events.

The core concept draws from the idea of finding patterns and anomalies in data, similar to how an e-commerce scraper would analyze pricing trends. 'Chronicle Weaver' will scrape and aggregate event logs from various sources on a server or a network of servers. It will then process these logs, extracting key information like timestamps, event IDs, source processes, user activity, and error messages. This information will be stored in a searchable database.
