Cognitive Echo

A personal intelligence platform that analyzes your audio recordings to create a searchable memory, automatically tracking commitments, inconsistencies, and insights. It's a 'Memento'-like tool for your professional and personal life, powered by customizable workflows.

Inspired by the fragmented memory of 'Memento', the AI constructs of 'Neuromancer', and the logic of 'Approval Workflows', Cognitive Echo is an audio processing tool that acts as your infallible external memory.

The Story: In a world of constant virtual meetings, phone calls, and information overload, our ability to recall critical details is failing. Like a character piecing together a fragmented past, the modern professional needs a system to organize and verify the constant stream of verbal information. Cognitive Echo is your personal AI 'construct' that you 'jack in' to your audio life. It processes the disparate echoes of your conversations, turning them into a coherent, searchable, and actionable intelligence database.

The Concept: Users upload audio files (meeting recordings, voice notes, calls) or connect to services like Zoom. The platform then processes this audio through a multi-stage pipeline, creating a rich, structured record of the conversation that goes far beyond simple transcription.

How It Works:
1. Ingestion & Core Processing: An audio file is uploaded. The system uses open-source models to perform a sequence of tasks:
- Transcription: Converts speech to text using a model like OpenAI's Whisper.
- Diarization: Identifies and separates who is speaking and when (e.g., Speaker 01, Speaker 02).
- Entity & Intent Recognition: Scans the text to identify key entities (names, companies, dates) and action items ('I will send the report by Friday').
- Tonal Analysis: Analyzes the raw audio of each speaker to detect emotional tone and sentiment (e.g., stress, confidence, uncertainty).

2. The Workflow Engine: This is the project's core monetization feature. It's a simple, no-code rule builder allowing users to automate actions based on the processed audio data. For example:
- Rule 1: `IF an 'action item' is detected, THEN create a calendar event and add a task to my To-Do list.`
- Rule 2: `IF my boss's name is mentioned AND the emotional tone is 'stressed', THEN send me an email with a summary of that conversation segment.`

3. The 'Memento' Feature - Consistency Audit: All processed data is stored and indexed. The user can perform a 'Consistency Audit' on any topic. By querying 'Project X budget', the system retrieves every mention of it across all recorded conversations, highlighting who said what, when, and flagging direct contradictions. This allows the user to construct an objective timeline of events, free from the fallibility of human memory.
