Neo-Tokyo Menu Renderer

Generates 3D models of fantastical food items described in scraped restaurant menus, inspired by cyberpunk and space opera aesthetics. Users can buy and sell these models for use in games, animation, and 3D printing.

Inspired by the intersection of 'Restaurant Menus' scraper, 'Neuromancer', and 'Star Wars', this project focuses on creating 3D models of dishes that might be found in the futuristic, stylized menus of a cyberpunk Neo-Tokyo or a far-flung spaceport cantina. The project begins with a targeted web scraper that gathers text descriptions from real and fictional restaurant menus online. The scraped data is then fed into a text-to-3D model generation pipeline. This could leverage open-source tools and free software such as Blender with scripted generation to minimize costs. The core novelty lies in the -style- of the 3D models. Instead of striving for photorealistic accuracy, the emphasis is on creating stylized, appealing, and potentially bizarre food items reflecting both the gritty cyberpunk aesthetic of 'Neuromancer' and the fantastical, sometimes absurd food concepts from 'Star Wars'. Imagine a "Nutrient Paste Delight" from a dystopian diner or a "Bantha Steak" with alien garnish rendered in vibrant, low-poly styles. The models are then offered for sale on platforms like Sketchfab, TurboSquid, or Cults3D. Pricing would be competitive, with individual models ranging from a few dollars to larger collections offered at a higher premium. The potential for high earning potential is based on the niche appeal (cyberpunk/space opera food), low production cost (leveraging free software and automation), and the broad applicability of 3D models in gaming, animation, 3D printing, and even virtual reality environments. Marketing would focus on highlighting the unique aesthetic and potential use cases within relevant online communities.
