A Web3 platform that facilitates the auction and trade of limited-edition 'spice' NFTs inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune, utilizing a time-delayed reveal mechanism reminiscent of Memento to build anticipation and scarcity.

The project, inspired by the Dune novel and the non-linear storytelling of Memento, envisions a decentralized auction house for 'spice' NFTs. Each 'spice' NFT represents a unique digital asset related to Dune lore (e.g., a specific spice batch, a location on Arrakis, a key character). The core concept is to build anticipation and rarity through a time-delayed reveal, similar to how Leonard Shelby pieces together his memories in Memento. Here's how it works:

1. Spice Recipe Data (Food Recipe Scraper Inspiration): We use a custom-built tool that is designed to scrape descriptions, images and lore based on the fictional spice Melange, its creation, its significance and its effect on the user. This data, alongside AI generated image art, helps define each limited edition NFT.

2. Blind Auction System: Before an auction begins, potential buyers only see a heavily redacted or abstract version of the 'spice' NFT. Key details, such as its exact properties, rarity score, or even its full visual representation, are obfuscated.

3. Time-Delayed Reveal (Memento Inspiration): The NFT's full reveal is fragmented and released over time, maybe a week to 2 weeks or monthly depending on how often new NFTs are issued. Pieces of information are slowly unveiled through a series of smart contracts or decentralized storage. This could involve revealing a specific property each day, a high-resolution section of the image, or snippets of lore associated with the spice.

4. NFT Metadata Update: As each piece of information is revealed, the NFT's metadata on the blockchain is updated, reflecting the newly discovered properties. This makes the NFT dynamic and engaging, continuously evolving as the auction progresses.

5. Limited Edition Minting: Only a limited number of each 'spice' NFT are minted, emphasizing scarcity and exclusivity. This leverages the collectibility aspects of NFTs.

6. Earn Potential: The earning potential stems from the demand for Dune-themed collectibles, the engaging time-delayed reveal mechanic, and the inherent value of NFTs within the Web3 space. Revenue is generated through primary sales (minting) and secondary market royalties on platforms like OpenSea.
